Nearly two years after applying to Guide Dogs of Texas, he received the call he had been waiting for, and met Tango.

Today, Tango helps Charles navigate crowded spaces, tight doorways, and stairs with greater confidence. At work and out in the community, her steady guidance helps him travel more independently. For his family, their partnership brings peace of mind.

This October, Charles and Tango celebrated their first anniversary. Charles describes her as an amazing partner and says he is grateful for her every single day.
